My approach

Our bodies are shaped by a range of factors: genetics, environment, diet, activity, stress, injuries, habits, and beliefs. Together, these elements create the foundation of our postural and movement patterns—essentially forming our physical identity.

Building on my foundational Rolfing® training, I specialize in various manual therapy techniques, including visceral manipulation, neural manipulation, craniosacral therapy, and osteopathic methods. My approach to Structural Integration combines these techniques to tailor each session to your body’s unique needs.

For lasting change, this work is most effective when experienced over a series of sessions—typically at least ten. Using precise, attuned touch, I apply varying levels of pressure, adjusting my approach to your body’s specific structure. My goal is to not only address pain and discomfort but also to educate you in understanding the root causes of your tension and misalignment. This work offers a new kinesthetic experience, fostering a deeper connection to and awareness of your body. Each session becomes an opportunity for you to learn, feel, and grow, leaving you with lasting positive change and tools to be more resilient in the future.

  • "I always leave her office feeling that my concerns have been addressed, and that I have learned something new about myself and my body’s possibilities."

    Cory N

  • "One visit to Marie and I had full mobility and the pain was alleviated within 24 hours."

    Marian G

  • "I had expected an intense version of a deep tissue massage but got a whole lot more. She asked questions and analyzed the way I moved. Based on her observations, she created a plan for addressing my issues although she adjusted the plan based on my responses to the sessions. I cannot recommend Marie highly enough."

  • "After my first session with Marie, the difference was noticeable, and it was clear that “something” significant had changed in my hip, and my pattern of walking. After five sessions, the problem was fully resolved. In short, it couldn’t have gone much better than it did."
